When Oregon horseman and inventor, Ted Blocker invented the original Blocker Tie Ring, he hardly could have anticipated that the simple device would take the horse industry by storm and save injury to thousands of horses and their owners. A small magnet inserted in the top of the Blocker Tie Ring 2, along with metal stays at the bottom of the ring keep the tongue of tie ring from sliding, providing a safer, even more secure tie than ever before. This new stay-put tongue design allows the Tie Ring 2 to be used in an even wider range of applications – including upside down on hitching rails! In addition, the Tie Ring 2’s smaller, more compact size makes it even more convenient where space is tight, such as in horse trailers. Rounding out the new improvements is a special quick snap with a tapered back that allows you to easily clip the tie ring to existing tie hooks and move it quickly as needed from place to place.

The Blocker Tie Ring 2 with Mag-Loc works based on the horse’s natural tendency to feel trapped and claustrophobic when tied tight. Unlike other tying options, when the horse pulls hard enough on the Blocker Tie Ring 2, he can pull some slack in the lead rope releasing pressure and the source of pain and panic. The degree of hold can be varied with three simple setting based on the tying needs of the individual horse. It can be used as a single tie, cross tie, hitching posts, inside and outside of trailers, picket lines, wash racks, grooming/saddling areas and more.
